A focused look at the primary areas I contribute to productions. Each discipline is rooted in collaboration, clear storytelling, and practical problem-solving on and off the stage.
Alongside primary design and directing roles, I contribute in several related areas that help productions communicate clearly with audiences and collaborators.
Leading workshops on stagecraft fundamentals, creative process, and the intersection of design and storytelling.
Onstage experience that informs my directing and design work with a grounded understanding of timing, blocking, and character.
Theatre is one of the last places where people sit together and truly see one another, and that’s why I teach it. Stories help us connect, understand different perspectives, and walk away changed.
In my classroom, connection and craft work hand in hand. I guide students through a wide range of styles and cultures so they can discover how their own experiences shape their art. They learn to take risks and grow as artists.
I keep instruction focused and hands-on, encouraging students to experiment, problem-solve, and create work that feels authentic to them. I set high expectations because I know they can meet them, and the confidence they gain becomes the real transformation.
Above all, my goal is simple: help students fall in love with theatre and carry those skills - communication, empathy, storytelling, and courage - into every part of their lives.
Actor and ensemble coaching that builds confidence and clarity.
Collaboration across directing, lighting, scenic, and projection design.
Visual storytelling through light, color, movement, and composition.
Calm, organized leadership in tech week and performance environments.
Design solutions that work within real-world budgets, spaces, and timelines.
Rehearsals centered on students and the practical work of making good theatre.
I collaborate with theatres, schools, and community organizations on lighting, scenic design, props, and directing. If you'd like to talk about an upcoming production or project, I'd love to connect.
